Goodbye, San Francisco!
Well tomorrow morning I farewell San Fran for San Diego on a 12 hour Greyhound voyage. Today i cycled the Golden Gate Bridge in the fog and visited the lovely little town Sausolito; then ferried back past Alcatraz.
This also signals the end of free high speed internet and great service at this hostel; who knows what San Diego and the rest of the trip holds for those two criteria.
I also have some news from Katie; she emailed from 3440 metres at Namche Bazaar! She says she is healthy and keeping safe which is good news.

Isn't it just fantastic that Katie could email you from 3,440m and it is good to know she is well and enjoying her adventure.
We have not heard any updates from Dad as news about the Brisbane to Gladstone is very scarce indeed. One of the larger yachts has crossed the finish line already. We have sent a couple of text messages but have not heard from him yet.
